Hank & Cecilia Reyes

Dr. Cecilia Reyes came onto the X-Men scene mostly to help deal with the legacy virus. Uncanny X-Men #351 (1998) is primarily an origin story issue for her. She's a surgeon and picks up a job at Mother of Mercy Hospital in New York...for one day, getting fired due to bigotry and letting Pyro leave the hospital. Before this she met and moved in with the X-Men, so she returns and pretty much becomes their "call if you need me" physician.

It's not until later in 1998 in the Uncanny X-Men/Fantastic Four special that Hank asks Cecilia out on a date. They hit the opera which Reed and Sue Richards are also attending.

Hank and Cecilia have something a little different going then his last girlfriends: intellectual commonalities. Cecilia is a medical doctor, a surgeon to be precise. Hank is not a medical doctor, but has a bunch of medical-adjacent doctorates (biochem, biophysics, etc). The are able to work in a lab setting together, they are able to work on the Legacy Virus together (a little). Their biggest obstacle is that Cecilia is not interested in focusing on her mutant abilities. She'll use them reluctantly. She tends to hide them from her colleagues.

So technically, Hank only went out with her on the one date, but they did flirt quite a bit and even have an AU future where they married and had kids.

Cecilia also did a lot of flirting with Gambit, but it remains unclear if they hooked up.
